“A handful of young designers have begun a small revolution in the world of wallcoverings, reinventing the field without straying far from its origins. Flavor paper is also reworking classic designs - but from a very different era. Bold new color techniques update the 70’s feel of patterns including psychedelic geometrics like Cycloid’s overlapping series of concentric circles and Circuit’s loops of parallel lines. Flavor Paper also offers some organic, but no less intense, designs. Flower of Love features intertwined, large-scale art-nouveau tendrils, and Huton is a thorny bramble of pattern, appearing in striking black on silver, or as a white-on-gray abstraction.”
